The Deseret News reported that police have identified a man who died in a motorcycle accident last week.  Jan Grayson Eyring, a 19-year-old resident of Magna, was riding his motorcycle with a passenger on May 19.  While riding through Murray, he collided with a vehicle that was making a left-hand turn.  Both men on the motorcycle were thrown about twenty feet.  Eyring and his passenger suffered serious head injuries from the motorcycle crash.  Both men were rushed to the hospital and Eyring was later pronounced dead.  According to Murray police, Eyring was not wearing a helmet but his passenger was wearing one.

If you are a Utah motorcycle rider, we strongly recommend you faithfully wear a safety helmet.  Statistics show that helmets can prevent serious head injury and can very well save your life.  If you take passengers with you on your bike, purchase an extra safety helmet for their use.
