A tragic motorcycle accident claimed the life of a man from Nevada. According to the Salt Lake Tribune, 52-year-old Joel Norman Macrae of Spring Creek, Nev. was riding his 1996 Harley Davidson on Route 143 outside the ski town of Brian Head. He lost control of his bike while negotiating a curve and slid across his lane into oncoming traffic. A Mitsubishi Lancer ran over Macrae, who died at the scene. Macrae was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. A passenger in the Lancer suffered injuries. Traffic authorities are investigating the accident.
